Despite being almost everywhere, people still appear to be afraid to use defibrillators. That is according to National Institutes of Health.

Expensive home or office automatic external defibrillators may not be the life savers people have hoped they’d be.

The National Institute of Health says Americans die needlessly from heart attacks because so few people know how to use the defibrillators that got so much attention when they were installed.

The Visalia Breakfast Rotary Club has announced its countywide Heart Safe Community Program is placing an automated external defibrillator at Exeter High School, Farmersville High School and Golden Maid Packers in Strathmore.
